CAKE DECORATING 101: INTRODUCTION FOR BEGINNERS
Note: This class is 4-hour course with all supplies included for $65. If you have a minor under the age of 16 that is interested in the class, I highly recommend an adult to sign-up with the student to retain information as well for not only the benefit of the child, but for the importance of team building as well as to learn how to successfully build income.
COURSE OUTLINE: (All Supplies Included)
Learn the principle and techniques of health and safety as well as cake production and decorating. Also, students will learn how to start a legitimate home-based business, where to purchase reasonable supplies, marketing and branding, and attracting consumers to your products.

- Understanding professional and successful business practices and ethics.
- Apply appropriate cake decorating methods.
- Identify proper cooling and storage techniques.
- Assemble cakes as required from an order.
- Storing and planning of daily production of a product(s).
- Use of specialized pastry tools and ingredients.
- Work with various forms of ingredients in making a finished cake.
- Learn proper shelf life of an item and how to work ahead.
- Producing various quantities of items and sell to the public.
- Develop professional skills an safe work habits.
